About the stone:
Polychrome Jasper, also known as Desert Jasper, is a variety of Jasper discovered in Madagascar.
Interesting to note is that all material must be hand dug due to the difficult terrain and conditions. Polychrome Jasper only forms in huge masses and got it’s original name (Desert Jasper) from its distinct shades of brown, red, and tan.
